BEA Interview with Author Adam Mansbach

Book Expo America was an author and star — or rather star-turned-author — studded event this year. After aisle grazing for a few hours, we happened upon author Adam Mansbach, whose most recent book, Go the F**k to Sleep has garnered tons of industry and non-industry buzz.

Thanks to the chutzpah of my colleague, publicity manager Hillary Buckholtz (also a blogger at “I’m Remembering“), and the kindness of the author and his publicist, we were able to snag a short video interview (please pardon the sound quality – it was recorded on my iPad – and please note: the video has language that is not suitable for young audiences because of its use of inappropriate language) with Mansbach.

The book and eBook went on sale today, and an enhanced eBook version is due out this fall complete with some awesome audio and video components. The eBook is currently available through Apple and other retailers. Viewing it on the iPad is said to be especially cool because of the page flow effects and the zoom feature when viewing Ricardo Cortes’ beautifully hand-drawn illustrations.

Audible is currently offering a free, 6-minute audio book recording done by Samuel L. Jackson, which has been floating around the Twitterverse thanks to GalleyCat.
