Former White House speechwriter Curt Smith authored a political history of baseball called "The President and the Pastime: The History of Baseball and the White House," which the Chicago Tribune calls a "deep dive" that showcases how America's greatest pastime served as symbolism its nation's presidents.
The book also received praise from the Galveston County Daily News, which called it "a sunny book and a perfect summer read."
TESTIMONIALS
Working with Planned Television Arts was like taking a test drive in a Corvette. It was fantastic. The PTA folks are consummate professionals, and they showed that in their excellent promotion for Black Voices. They helped position Black Voices as "Black America's Favorite Web Site."
