MEDIA CONNECT executed a platform building campaign for Dr. Glangchai along with a launch campaign for her book, VentureGirls: Raising Girls to Be Tomorrow’s Leaders published by HarperCollins in May of 2018.  The book contains practical information and insights on how parents can raise their daughters to be entrepreneurial risk takers, especially in the STEM fields. Receiving high acclaim, the book was a solid success landing on the USA Today, Washington Post, Publishers Weekly and IndieBound Booksellers Bestseller lists.  MEDIA CONNECT was also able to arrange for a speakers bureau to take on Dr. Glangchai as a client. 

During this time MEDIA CONNECT was able to grow her social media following to 14,000 page likes on Facebook and 1,600 followers on Twitter. 

The book launch featured numerous TV, online and radio appearances including a Satellite TV tour and a six city tour with book talks including New York City, Toronto, San Francisco, Kansas City, Portland, Austin and San Antonio.  MEDIA CONNECT also contacted a number of bloggers who posted reviews on Amazon, now totaling 25 reviews on the Amazon page.  Major media coverage included placements with Quartz, Psychology Today, The Jim Bohanon Show, The Social, WGN-TV, PRI’s IdeaSphere and many others.
